A-ring

A-rings in nominal sizes DN 100 to DN 200 are used as a sealing element for the connection of vitrified clay pipes with socket type L according to joint system F on sockets made of cast iron (connector E according to DIN 19522). The A-ring is made of rubber elastomer with internal steel insert.

A-rings are inserted into the socket of the connection piece E (cast iron), then the spigot of the vitrified clay pipe is inserted into the A-ring. Before the spigot of the vitrified clay pipe is inserted into the A-ring, the original KeraMat lubricants must be applied to the spigot of the vitrified clay pipe.
