In Bruges, the strength of partnership truly comes to life. Together with our trusted distributor Verhelst and the city of Bruges, we delivered a fully integrated system combining KERA.Port manholes and KERA vitrified clay pipes — showcasing sustainable and reliable sewer infrastructure.
The city of Bruges follows a clear long-term vision: every fifty years, its sewage systems are renewed to ensure reliable performance for future generations. In this project, the priority was to separate rainwater from wastewater. The newly installed sewer now exclusively transports wastewater.
To safeguard durability and prevent deterioration, Bruges chose our KERA vitrified clay pipes and KERA.Port manholes for the wastewater flow. All solutions were manufactured locally at our production plant in Hasselt. With the addition of our new KERA.Port manhole production hall, we have significantly increased our capacity, enabling us to offer competitive, corrosion-resistant solutions for modern sewer infrastructure.
Our trusted distribution partner Verhelst Building Materials plays a key role in making these projects possible. With extensive stock, technical know-how, and in-house logistics, they support infrastructure contractors across the region. Our partnership with Verhelst dates back to 1957 — a long-standing collaboration we are truly proud of.
