Section Channels

A half shell is a pipe split in the middle, used for lining channels, pipes, and shafts. The clay half shells are available in nominal sizes DN 150 to DN 600. They are glazed on the inside and unglazed on the outside. The inner glaze reduces friction resistance, allowing for efficient drainage of waste and mixed water. The outside can also be combed, roughened, or ribbed.

Other half shells are available upon request.

Clay 1/3 Shells can be used for lining pits and pipes. These shells protect other components from aggressive wastewater. Our inner shells in nominal sizes DN 250 to DN 600 meet the dimensions and performance standards of EN 295. They are glazed on the inside and unglazed on the outside. The outside can also be combed, roughened, or ribbed.
