At Steinzeug-Keramo, we attach great importance to sustainability and the environment. That's why every site has at least one bio-ambassador. Discover how they make a significant difference in preserving and promoting nature at our sites in Hasselt and Bad Schmiedeberg.

Frauke & Dieter I Hasselt

In addition to their role as biodiversity ambassadors, Frauke works as a Logistics Manager and Dieter as a Sales Engineer.

"On one hand, we look for opportunities at our location to improve both the flora and fauna, and on the other hand, we promote ideas within the company to further increase biodiversity. For example, last year we invested in a wildflower garden and a few weeks ago, we installed a new insect hotel! Furthermore, we monitor the development of the fauna (bees, wasps, butterflies) throughout the year to track the effects of the biodiversity plan."
